F&F Brunch at Olivia’s!

My cousin, Kristine and her beautiful daugther, Lily (aka Lilybean – so cute!) were visiting from SoCal this weekend. She and her friends flew in from all over. She picked one of our favorite restaurant for brunch – Olivia’s to meet. We were thrilled! Jason can’t get enough of their seared foie gras. I keep going back for their shrimp & gouda grits. Pretty much everything we have tried so far is out of this world. Enough said.

So, I realized today that I haven’t seen my cousin, Kristine in more than 15 years!!!! Now we’re all grown up, married with kids. First thing Lilybean did was hand over her stuffed animal to share with Jalen. It was so cute! Wish I could have captured that moment on camera.

Jenna and Jalen getting to know one another. He is such a flirt!

Following photos were taken by my cousin, Kristin and her friend Brian.

LOVE this photo of Jenna, Kristine and Lily!

They are too cute together! These photos just don’t do justice for how cute she really is in person.

Reconnecting with family is wonderful and I’m so glad we got to see you Kristine and meet you, Lilybean! You definitely got that sparkle from your mama! Next time, we hope to meet your better half, David too. Thanks for spending some time with us and we hope to see you soon in SoCal with the rest of our family. (Thanks Brian for taking this photo of us!)

Thanks! I’d love to say I took all the photos, but I didn’t. Kristin took some and I think her friend took some as well. It was a perfect Sunday afternoon!ReplyCancel

Love it! I still have a residual emotional glow from spending time with people I love, meeting new friends and eating great food! Thanks for recording the event.ReplyCancel
