My sweet boy is growing up too fast right before my eyes. It’s hard to believe 6 months has passed already because I feel as though I just gave birth to him yesterday. But then again, the last 6 months also feels like it’s been a lot longer than, well… 6 months. Every parent friend I have told me that his 1st year would fly by so fast, that I should savor each day, each moment. However, due to sleep deprivation and copious amount of stress from sleeping training (yes, he has not slept through the night, STILL and now daddy is up every night putting Jalen back to sleep. poor husband…), it’s very hard to try to enjoy every moment, all the time.

But every time I witness Jalen’s smile… I can’t help it, but to melt a little… and can’t contain the joyous feeling that he gives me. There are no words that can describe how I feel everyday when I get to hold him , snuggle him, kiss him and tell him how much I love him. I do love this boy, sooooooo much. Sometimes it hurts.

Everyone says they love to pinch and eat his cheeks. They are indeed, scrumptious. I kiss them non-stop. Everyday. 😉

Something new that he has been showing off as of last week is sticking his tongue out whenever we feed him solids. He loves avocados right now. That photo is a must next time!
