A girl who can do it all – my friend, Hannah Williams.

Hannah came in to my life as one of my favorite pre-natal yoga teacher at Yoga Yoga. I’ve written few blogs about her since then because I was lucky enough to photograph her band. She is that girl who does it all and makes it look so easy doing it. I don’t know how she does it, but she does and I try to be around her as much as I can to learn all her tricks. =) What I love about Hannah is that she is spiritual, vibrant, intuitive, talented, genuine and the best quality I see in her is that she’s a great mom to her daughter, Emalina (a.k.a. little moonie) and a great partner to her long time husband/band mate, Damon. Seriously. They have been together FOREVER and they are really cute together.

I can’t remember who introduced me to her at Yoga Yoga, but we related to one another right away because we are both from LA and we came to Austin to have a better quality of life for our families. I believe most people who move here come here for that reason. Or so I hear. I LOVED her pre-natal yoga classes and told everyone I could to take her class with me. I looked forward to it every Wednesday each week. It was fun, but what I loved about it was that two days later, I would be hurting (good pain) because she worked our little buns off. I seriously did not think pre-natal yoga classes could make me feel like I just took an hour class of The Dailey Method which I loved back in California.

Anyways, Hannah has become someone very special in my life as a friend. As I get older, I realize good friends are hard to find and even harder to keep. Since day one, our friendship felt as though we have been friends for years. We could talk forever. Not to mention that we love to leave each other long drawn voicemail messages and tolerate it. LOL Something quirky as that, we understand each other and I am so happy to have her in my life. We definitely will be friends for a very long time.

I took this photo of her and her mother last year when she moved to Austin to be closer to her and her family. After meeting her mom, I see why Hannah is the way she is. They look like sisters here, don’t they?!
