I was recently invited to a lovely luncheon at The Steeping Room through my yoga mommy group from Yoga Yoga studio. I met 6 wonderful women. All, but 1 woman are expecting. Chelsea, who sat next to me delivered her beautiful daughter, Sofie month and half ago and I think it’s safe to say, we ALL fell in love with her as soon as we laid eyes on her. I have to say, I’ve seen beautiful babies in the past many times, but something about Sofie that made me feel… so connected. Perhaps because I am 22 weeks pregnant, expecting my own little boy to arrive, I felt nothing, but love for this little girl. I gushed my love for Sofie and asked Chelsea if it was alright to photograph her sometime. Lucky for me, she happily agreed and we soon exchanged our numbers to set a date.

I had the best time getting to know Chelsea and her husband, David (Fitness King of Austin) while playing and shooting Sofie all day.
