The photos I’m sharing with you today turned out so beautifully. As I was editing all the preview pictures for this blog post, I kept getting more and more excited with how they all turned out. Before I post the pictures, though, I want to first tell you about Emily & Ranjiv. I met them at their home few weeks ago as they were packing up to leave Austin for Arizona. Ranjiv greeted me at the door letting me know Emily was gone to the grocery store to grab greens for their breakfast smoothies (pregnancy cravings). I knew we were in for a fun morning session. When she returned, we discussed shortly about what kind of lifestyle session she wanted. Once I explained little bit more about lifestyle photography, she asked, “Can I change into my pajamas? I want to be comfortable.” I instantly loved how relaxed and real she was for her photo shoot even though she said she was very nervous in our previous conversation. Oh, and she even shared some of her green smoothies with me and it was heathy and delicious!

Once we finished shooting at their house, we headed out to Mueller Park. This park holds a special place in their hearts as they spent many hours here after work to decompress which I thought was so sweet.

Last time I shot around Thinkery, I really wanted to shoot in the garage utilizing their modern structure (ok, it’s a garage, but it turned out really cool).

Overall, we had a really fun time together and I know that Emily & Ranjiv are going to make the best parents to their little angel. Oh, and if you’re wondering if it’s a boy or girl, you’ll have to wait – with mom and dad – to find out what the sex is!
